Chari Dance- A dance that showcases an enthralling balancing act through keeping chari or pots above the head. It is one of the folk dances of Rajasthan which holds relevance related to a custom performed in marriages. According to traditional customs, Chari dance is one of the most ancient and prominent dances of Rajasthan and showcases the custom of the bride's mother carrying chari or pot on the head with a lighting lamp to welcome the groom. During the Toran custom in Rajasthani marriages, The Dulha or Groom comes at the entrance and hits the toran with a straw. During that custom, the bride's mother comes and performs the “Aarti" of the Groom. This dance is commonly performed in the Rajasthani folk song of “leta ajyosa ghumar dar lehengi"
