The Rajasthan features a large number of nomadic groups and gypsies. One such group is “Banjaras"- who travel to different towns and villages to sell Salt. They perform the traditional dance called “Banjara Banjari Dance" while traveling to different cities and villages. This dance perfectly reflects the lives and joyous nature of Banjaras as a community. This dance is commonly performed in the most popular Rajasthani Song- Cham Cham Chamke Chundadi. It is the most famous Dance among other Folk Dances of Rajasthan. It is performed by traditional male and female Rajasthani folk dancers in various programs and festivals such as weddings, corporate events, cultural events, etc.
